So....what happens if I decide to come check out one of your Sunday morning services?
Where do I go?
First of all, we're just really glad you came. For some people just walking into a church can be a bit intimidating and for others it just isn't something they've done before.
But more to the point....you will have lots of parking space around the church and someone greet you at the door with a bulletin who can help you with any questions you might have. We have a ramp for easy access if you have a wheelchair.
Please sit anywhere you like in the sanctuary with your kids. They will stay with you until they are dismissed a bit of the way into our service for Sunday School. All Sunday School rooms are on the main level, staffed with two safe and trusted volunteers per age range level, and close by if you want to check out yourself before or during the service. After the service your child(ren) will be there for you to pick up. Our services usually last between an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.
What do I wear?
Wear whatever you are comfortable in. Most people you will see here are business casual with a few in suits. If you are a coffee addict and can't go a little while without it, you can bring your Timmies into the sanctuary. No one who does that here has been struck by lightning yet, although you may find it hard to raise your hands during our worship time like some of us like to do.
What is the worship time like?
In a nutshell, the worship time here is blended. We do mostly contemporary songs combined with classic hymns of the faith led by our Music Director, worship leader, sometimes a worship team, and include the old hymns with the organ on occasion. Every now and again we have the choir do a special and put in some special music here or there to. We believe in the truth found in the Bible to help in our daily walk with God, so Bible-based messages with practical insights are what you will hear.
